A lot of studies have been conducted since 1985, but we might finally be on the way to getting something for them.
As your Ride On writers have stated more than once in past issues of this newsletter, the proposal of a high-speed rail line between Calgary and Edmonton has been debated for as long as we have lived in the province one of us likes to call “The Heartland”, and we have lived here since 2002. Well, the blog High Speed Rail Canada identifies eight major studies on this hypothetical rail line going back to 1985! And despite all of these studies, there is still nothing built!
