Last week, your Ride On writers discussed the recently approved construction of both a high-speed rail line between Calgary and Edmonton, as well as a hyperloop system between the same two cities. These approvals were literally decades in the making, so we wondered: what went into the research conducted for a high-speed rail line? We found many studies conducted since the mid-1970s on a site maintained by High Speed Rail Canada, and we thought it would be beneficial to review them all today.
